A good friend promises me that no one reads lots of text on a website - but I’m the type of person who does. So I’m sharing these in full form.

Some students I coached for a long time, others I helped through plateaus and specific problems.

Thank you to the students who have been kind enough to put so much thought into their testimonials.

Coming from the world of pole dance and aerial arts, handstands were always my "nemesis." I spent years in group classes, but I never really understood what was missing or why I couldn't get them to click despite trying consistently.

Working with Craig changed that. I realized I didn't need a generic list of exercises; I needed a tailored approach that respected my body mechanics. Craig’s coaching is much more than just personal training - it is highly detailed and crafted experience. It helped me connect to my body in ways that actually transcended into my other training.

I really value how Craig uses his wide range of experience to adjust his approach to your specific goals. We started with my simple wish to feel confident training at the wall, and as I progressed, I wanted to challenge myself more.

After just six months, I am able to kick up and balance on and off the wall, but the biggest shift is internal: I’ve built a level of body awareness I didn't think was possible, and my approach to my own practice is so much kinder and I can trust myself to balance.

Training under Craig's guidance has been a very rewarding experience. He has a lot of knowledge pretending the human body and he's very good at explaining the what's and why's of every exercise. It's a very personalized experience where you set up goals, and if you commit to the training regime, you will get the results. He's always been very precise and open with feedback, and the conversation always felt very easy. Great human being, great handstand coach, cannot recommend it enough.

When I started the coaching I was coming back to handbalancing after some time off due to an injury and I was getting back on my hands. I wanted a proper way to get back to training with manageable load and practicing the things I needed the most. Living in different parts of the world made online training the only option, but it never felt hard or less than it could have been in person.

The biggest thing was that I found another way to shift the weight to go into my one arm, it was not the first time someone said this to me, but I finally understood what it meant and I could replicate them every session, instead of only once in a while. I’m still trying to go over "the wall", but now it makes way more sense.

I think the biggest difference was understanding every single building block and having something that worked on every step of the way. Usually it's easy to find general principles that work, but in this case, the coaching felt very precise.

Before working with Craig

Before working with Craig I had a DIY strength training and handstand routine. I worked online with other handstand coaches before so had some ideas on how to structure my HS training. I knew drills and skill exercises, yet, as my dream was to accomplish a press to handstand and I didn’t know exactly what my weak points were and the right drills to work towards that.

My shoulder mobility was always the biggest issue and I had some wrist issues so had to use parallettes for some exercises.

Basically, I’ve been doing handstands since 2014 - but reaaally on and off. In 2019 I started doing things more regularly and during Corona I took it more seriously, got a coach, worked on straight line and free standing.

My handstand had started to feel solid before working with Craig but it was still a 50/50 chance I would get there when kicking up or jumping into a straddle.

Deciding to work with Craig

Finally the feeling of "I don’t know what I’m doing and I’d rather invest some money into someone teaching me instead wasting my time on doing whatever" became bigger and bigger. It was a coincidence that I stumbled upon his Instagram. After writing a bit I was happy and I'm not ashamed to admit that I was pleased to find a HS coach that doesn't only offer options for 300€+/month. This was simply not affordable for me.

Also his circus background was really what I liked a lot as I know they’re crazy athletes while having amazing attitudes :D

Quite simply, I loved that working with Craig worked so well. No fancy Apps needed, simply Google Drive, bam, let´s go.

Working with Craig

It was a real pleasure working with Craig. Maybe because we are both really direct people, but I love his communication and authentic style.

His videos and plans are very helpful. He answered all the questions thoroughly and quickly, I really felt like I could ask anything and didn’t hesitate. I never had a moment of feeling judged in any way. The calls were super helpful, led to many "aha!-moments" and always filled with laughter - and reminded me that sometimes training is supposed to be fun!

During the time things in my personal and work life changed a lot, my body changed, I had less time etc. and I was really glad that he was always up to adjust things.

Since working with Craig I have told everyone about him and would 100% recommend working with him.

Something that was a bit exhausting for me - but this is part of training and working with an online coach - is filming everything. I know it’s important and necessary and absolutely makes sense. This is definitely something that someone who starts online coaching (in general) should have in mind.

Where am I now

Right now I have limited training time but it amazes me that when I train and do HS stuff it still feels solid and 100% improvement to where I was before working with Craig. I have so much more understanding of my positioning, my mobility is way better and also my theoretical understanding got way better.

My line is straighter, I can hold 1min+, my straddle is better, I’m able to do lots of transitions (diamond, straddle etc) that I wasn´t able to do before.
